Q: Were you under the influence of drugs or alcohol that impared your ability to understad what you were doing?
A: It could have been medication, yes.
Q: Okay, what medications were you taking in about… January 2003?
A: Hmm.. It could have easily been pain medication, ’cause I had some serious injuries on tour.
Q: On what tour?
A: I had a serious fall, I’m not sure it was the tour, it was the show that we did, a benefit show. And I had an accident also at home, so I’m sure it has something to do with that.
Q: And, so is it your testimony today that you gave a power of attorney to Diter Weisner and Ronald Konitzer when you were under the influence of prescription medication?
A: It could have been, probably.
Q: That’s… probably?
A: Probably, yes, probably.
Q: Were you impaired by the taking of prescription medications or something else at the time when you signed these 2 documents?
A: Could have been.
Q: Okay, is that your best recollection is that you signed these while impaired not knowing what they meant?
A: May be said so, but I’m not… I don’t remember…
Q: Were you impaired by the taking of prescription medication at the time you signed these?
A: Could have been, I don’t know.
Q: How long during 2003 were you impaired through… because of the taking of prescription medications?
A: I don’t know…
Q: Was it most of 2003?
A: I’m not sure.
Q: Did dr Farshchian prescribed that medication for you?
A: No, it wasn’t Farshchian. I think it was a local.
Q: As of March 31 2003, were you still impaired because of the taking of prescription medication?
A: I could have been.
Q: During the period of time you were impaired by the taking of prescription medication, was this an impairment that lasted like all your waking hours, or did it come and go?
A: It comes and goes, not all of the waking hours, of course not. Yes.
Q: Okay, during the period of time you were taking this medication when you weren’t impaired, did you ever tell one of your advisors that you were concerned about your impairment and they better watch what you were signing during this period of time?
A: Not that I recall.
Q: As of July 3 2003 were you still at times impaired because of the consumption of prescription medication?
A: I’m not sure
Q: Possibly you were still impaired?
A: Could be, it could be.
Q: Do you think you were impaired when you remember writing, I’m sorry, do you think you were impaired when you wrote ‘MJ decide’?
A: I don’t know.
